1. CW004A - Pure Copper (ETP Copper):

Name: Electrolytic Tough Pitch Copper (ETP).

Chemical composition

Copper (Cu): ≥ 99.90%

Oxygen (O): ≤ 0.04% (with a small amount of oxygen to improve properties).

Other impurities: very little.

Advantages:

Extremely high electrical and thermal conductivity.

Easy to process, draw, and shape.

Not as durable as alloys but good corrosion resistance in not too harsh environments.

Applications:

Electrical wires, busbars, and conductive components.

Production of pipes, plates, and copper wires in the electrical and construction industries.

2. CW614N - CuZn39Pb3. Brass (Free Machining Brass)

Chemical composition:

Copper (Cu): 57.0 - 59.0%

Zinc (Zn): 35.0 - 39.0%

Lead (Pb): 2.5 - 3.5%

Other impurities: ≤ 0.5%.

Advantages:

Excellent machinability due to high lead content (easy lathe, mill, drill).

Tensile strength: ~370 - 500 MPa.

Abrasion resistance and average corrosion resistance.

Not suitable for drinking water due to lead content.

3. CW617N - CuZn40Pb2. Hot stamping brass

Chemical composition:

Copper (Cu): 57.0 - 59.0%

Zinc (Zn): 37.0 - 41.0%

Lead (Pb): 1.6 - 2.5%

Other impurities: ≤ 0.5%.

Advantages:

Good combination of hot stamping and machining.

Tensile strength: ~370 - 500 MPa.

Better corrosion resistance than CW614N in some environments.

Easy to weld and form at high temperatures.

4. CW508L - CuZn37. Basic Brass

Chemical composition:

Copper (Cu): 62.0 - 64.0%

Zinc (Zn): 35.0 - 37.0%

Lead (Pb): ≤ 0.1% (very low lead content).

Other impurities: ≤ 0.5%.

Advantages:

Easy to cold form, draw, and bend.

Tensile strength: ~300 - 400 MPa.

Good corrosion resistance, suitable for environments that are not too harsh.

Contains no significant lead, safer for drinking water.

5. CW612N - CuZn39Pb2. (Hot stamping and machining brass)

Chemical composition:

Copper (Cu): 58.0 - 60.0%

Zinc (Zn): 36.0 - 39.0%

Lead (Pb): 1.8 - 2.5%

Other impurities: ≤ 0.5%.

Advantages:

Intermediate properties between CW614N and CW617N: good machining and effective hot stamping.

Tensile strength: ~350 - 450 MPa.

Pretty good corrosion resistance, suitable for engineering applications.

C62300 Aluminum Bronze: This alloy is an alloy of three elements copper-aluminum-iron, with higher strength and wear resistance through the precipitation of aluminum in solid solution. At the same time, because aluminum can form a dense aluminum oxide protective layer on the surface of the product, this alloy has better high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in atmospheric, fresh water and seawater conditions. The alloy has good spark resistance, good heat press machinability and can be electric or gas welded, but is not suitable for brazing

Applications of aluminum bronze UNS C6300: Used in screws, nuts, copper sleeves, washers, etc. with relatively high strength.

Copper Nickel Zinc UNS C79860 / EN CW 407J: Good cutting performance with machinability equivalent to 90% of brass C36000, good heat workability, hot forging properties equivalent to 80% of brass C37700, high strength, high elasticity and high corrosion resistance.
